Workplace Giving.

Workplace giving (or payroll giving) is a way for employees to give small, regular donations from pre-tax pay. Employers can choose to match the donation doubling the impact.

Workplace giving is a great opportunity for employees and employers to offer ongoing, sustainable and long-term support to women survivors of exploitation in need of therapeutic support.

Please get in touch if you have any questions or wish to discuss this option.

 Benefits for employees:

  • Workplace giving reduces your taxable income.

  • Since your donation is pre-tax, HerSpace will receive more from your payroll than what it actually costs you.

  • Your donation will be automatically recorded on your payslip.

  • It is all taken care of by your payroll provider so you don’t have to worry about record-keeping.

 Benefits for employers:

  • Workplace giving reinforces organisational values and demonstrates good corporate social responsibility.

  • It boosts employee morale and creates a passionate and engaged workforce.

  • It builds cost-effective long-term partnerships with charities.

 How to get started?

Most employers already have a workplace giving program or are willing to establish one.

Your payroll manager should be able to assist you in nominating HerSpace as your charity of choice and select your donation amount.

Once you have nominated HerSpace as the recipient of your payroll giving, each payday, your employer will pay your donations directly to HerSpace.

You can also ask your employer whether they are willing to match any donation you make to HerSpace.
